Cocas, cocktails, conversation -
With a spectacular terrace view overlooking Lygon Street, the Cinema Nova Bar is a place to relax with a coffee before your film, or make a night of it with dinner, drinks and the whole shebang.
Designed by award-wining architect Aidan Halloran, the exquisite interior makes for an intimate, comfortable dining experience.
Renowned Spanish chef Raúl Moreno Yague has created an innovative menu that’s a refreshing alternative to the pasta Lygon Street is known for. Original Spanish Tapas; Patatas Bravas; Croquettas; Bocadillas; and our specialty Cocas - think pizza but with a Spanish twist! Favourite dishes include The Dali – a paella coca with chicken, mussels and calamari on saffron infused rice. There’s zucchini and cream cheese soup served with parsnip crisps (this was a favourite with Raul’s mum). For desert, indulge with the mouth-watering Chocolate, Ricotta and Spiced Pear Coca - the only thing on earth that’s richer is Bill Gates!
If it’s a drink you’re after, try one of our ten delicious cocktails or the finest quality wine including Momo Sauvignon Blanc and Innocent Bystanders Sangiovese. For coffee, we proudly serve Supreme’s fair trade organic blend. Sourced from East Africa and the Pacific Rim, enjoy its creamy body, rich earthy notes and a lingering spiced chocolate finish. |
