Don't Tell

A vital Australian true story reaches the screen in DON’T TELL, a dramatisation of the court case that led to the creation of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

Lyndal is a young woman who during her high school years at a prestigious private school in Queensland was subjected to sexual abuse by a boarding master. Emotionally scarred and angry at the dismissive manner in which her allegations were treated and silenced by the church, Lyndal engages a determined local lawyer to take on the Anglican Archdiocese of Brisbane, and challenge their denial of the abuse she suffered.

With a sterling Australian cast including Jack Thompson, Sara West, Aden Young, Gyton Grantley, Susie Porter and Rachel Griffiths, DON’T TELL is a poignant story about finding the courage to stand up, speak out and fight against extreme injustice.
