Early Man

A new film from Aardman and Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park is always a high treat, and their latest EARLY MAN is prehistorically good!

Meet Dug (Eddie Redmayne), a plucky caveman who along with his pig sidekick Hognob lives an idyllic existence with his Stone Age clan in an isolated valley. Their peace and quiet, however, is disturbed when Bronze Age interlopers arrive in the valley, led by the snooty Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston), who have plans to dig up the valley and turn it into a giant mine. But Dug discovers a way in which he can challenge these metal-obsessed marauders – Nooth is obsessed with football, and accepts an invitation for the cavemen to play against the top team Real Bronzio where the winning team gains ownership of the valley. There’s only one snag – neither Dug nor his Stone Age compatriots have ever played the beautiful game.

With the additional voice talents of Maisie Williams, Timothy Spall, Richard Ayoade, Miriam Margoyles and Rob Brydon, EARLY MAN is a charming Claymation caper for the whole family.
