RFF: House Arrest

Un Certain Regard official selection, 2021 Cannes Film Festival. A searing portrait of a man persecuted by the Russian state for a crime he didn't commit. A timely film that addresses the current situation with a story about a Russian professor who takes to social media to criticize the city's administration. He soon finds himself accused of embezzlement and placed under house arrest.
