From the director of Weekend and 45 Years, Andrew Haigh, comes the moving tale of a boy who befriends a fading racehorse.

Charley (Charlie Plummer) is the son of a single father (Travis Fimmel) who makes a living working in warehouses across the American north -west. Taking a summer job working for a washed-up horse trainer (Steve Buscemi), Charley befriends a racehorse named Lean On Pete that many believe is past his prime.

Winner and nominee for multiple international awards, LEAN ON PETE is a heartfelt drama about the mysterious connection that can be felt between humans and animals; particularly in our time of need. Co-starring Chloë Sevigny, Amy Seimetz and Steve Zahn.
