MF: From Short to Feature: BUTTON MAN Q&A panel

From Short To Feature: The Creative Hourney of BUTTON MAN Filmmaker Panel.

Short films can help launch a career and they are often used to showcase the talents of the filmmakers to pitch a feature film concept. Ultimately, a short film can establish a filmmaker in the festival scene, catch the eye of a producer and pave the way to a full-length film.

When Melbourne filmmakers, Josh Todaro and Jamie 'Pees' Lehman made the short film BUTTON MAN in 2021, they achieved those goals. One of Australia’s most dynamic producers Jason Byrne is now working with Josh, Jamie and Monster Pictures to develope the short into a full length feature.

As a celebration of the Australian Premiere of BUTTON MAN, Monster Fest will host a filmmaker Q&A and panel session to discuss the journey of the film so far and the next steps the filmmaking team will take to get the feature to market. Join Jason, Josh, Jamie and Monster Pictures’ own Grant Hardie as they provide invaluable insight into the evolution of BUTTON MAN; from short to feature.

Inspired by true events, this raw Australian horror follows two sisters on a hiking trip gone wrong, when they realise they aren't alone in the Victorian High Country.
