Non-Fiction

Olivier Assayas (Personal Shopper, Clouds Of Sils Maria) reteams with leading lady of the latter, Juliette Binoche, for his new film NON-FICTION: a wry tale of seduction, sex, and the messy lines between fact and fiction.

Set in Paris in the bohemian publishing world, the film tells of the controversy and upset that is induced when author Léonard (Vincent Macaigne) begins using his real-life affairs as fodder for his new book – including a fling with actress Selena (Binoche), who is also married to his editor Alain (Guillaume Canet). Assayas’ film has star-power, courtesy of the ever-captivating Juliette Binoche, and is also a sharply funny look at the messy situations we find ourselves in when love and career collide.
