GARDEN PARTY. Directed by Florian Babikian, Vincent Bayoux, Victor Caire, Théophile Dufresne, Gabriel Grapperon and Lucas Navarro. France, 7 minutes. In a deserted, opulent house, a couple of amphibians explore their surroundings and follow their primal instincts.
LOU. Directed by Dave Mullins. USA, 7 minutes. When a toy-stealing bully ruins recess for a playground full of kids, only one thing stands in his way: the “Lost and Found” box.
NEGATIVE SPACE. Directed by Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata. France, 6 minutes. How my father taught me how to pack a bag.
REVOLTING RHYMES. Directed by Jakob Schuh and Jan Lachauer. UK, 29 minutes. Interweaves Roald Dahl’s retellings of classic fairy tales with playful twists and surprising endings. The all-star voice cast comprises of Dominic West, David Walliams, Rob Brydon, Tamsin Greig, Bertie Carvel, Rose Leslie, Bel Powley, Gemma Chan and Isaac Hempstead Wright.
PLUS: while not nominated for the Animated Short Film Academy Award, the program will also include the shortlisted animated titles 'LOST PROPERTY OFFICE', 'WEEDS' and 'ACHOO'.
