A thrilling comedy led by Saoirse Ronan (Little Women), BAD APPLES is a darkly satirical look at the education system and plight of teachers.

Struggling to wrangle a particularly disruptive student in her class, primary school teacher Maria (Ronan) finds herself in a bind when a chain of events leads her to lock him up in her basement. Initially desperate to undo this action, she instead finds that her class has begun to flourish in his absence, creating hesitation as to how best move forward for herself, but also the sake of her class.
