A crime-triller from Venice Silver Lion-winner James Gray (The Immigrant, Armageddon Time), PAPER TIGER stars Adam Driver, Scarlett Johanson, and Miles Teller.

In 1986 New York, devil-may-care former cop Gary Pearl (Driver) pitches a lucrative construction project to his engineer brother Irwin (Teller). The catch? The job is full of legal loopholes and encroaches on Russian-gang territory. Knowing his wife Hester (Johansson) wants an easier life, Irwin comes around to the idea, leading to an initially profitable venture. But when Irwin accidentally sees something he shouldn’t have, the mob starts threatening Hester, their two sons and everything they hold dear.
