Led by a committed pairing of Sydney Sweeney (Reality) and Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), David Michôd’s (Animal Kingdom, The King, The Rover) CHRISTY details the story of the most successful female boxer of the 90s, Christy Martin.

Born in a small town in West Viriginia, Christy Martin (Sweeney) soon discovers a talent for boxing, fuelling her to strive for a life away from her humble roots. With the help of Jim (Foster), her trainer, manager, and husband, Christy soon ascends the rings of professional boxing to become a staple of the sport. However, outside of the ring she faces personal challenges that start to overwhelm her professional life, forcing her to confront her family, identity, and the relationships of those closest to her.
