Heide x Cinema Nova: Nomadland

Heide Museum x Cinema Nova present: Acclaimed director Chloé Zhao’s Oscar award winning film NOMADLAND (Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Director), a timely drama depicting a visually stunning yet increasingly forgotten part of the United States of America. Selected by influential American photographer Catherine Opie, whose recent works explore solidarity and collective action in the face of proliferating global crises, NOMADLAND stars Frances McDormand as Fern, an independent woman who travels across America working seasonal jobs after the closure of her factory-employer literally wiped her township off the map.

Introduction by curator Brooke Babington (Catherine Opie: Binding Ties at Heide) and museum admission are included in ticket price.
