Eager-to-please care worker Lily Trevino (Barbie Ferreira) divides her time between assisting her close friend and client Daphne (Lauren 'Lolo' Spencer) and her self-centred father Bob (French Stewart). Fixated upon meeting a woman who meets his unreasonable beauty standards, Bob blames Lily when a date goes awry and cuts her out of his life. Wracked with guilt, an attempt by Lily to reconnect sees her accidentally send a Facebook friend request to a stranger (John Leguizamo) with the same name as her father.
