Little Women

IN CONVERSATION EVENT SCREENING: Wednesday 18 December, 6.00pm
Clementine Ford (best-selling author of Fight Like A Girl and Boys Will Be Boys), Clem Bastow (awardwinning Cultural Critic), Bhakthi Puvanenthiran (editor ABC Life) and Christine Gordon (events manager for Readings) will be in conversation following an advance screening of Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated adaptation of LITTLE WOMEN!

Louisa May Alcott’s seminal coming-of-age tale is adapted for the screen by Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, 20th Century Women) in her second solo-directed project. The well-loved LITTLE WOMEN is given new lease by Gerwig, breathing a freshness into the story of the lives of Jo, Meg, Amy and Beth, young sisters becoming women in 1860’s New England. With a cast including Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Laura Dern, Meryl Streep, Midsommar’s Florence Pugh and Call Me By Your Name’s Timothée Chalamet, the film was shot on location in Massachusetts – where Alcott grew up in real life – and Gerwig’s film will capture the same authenticity and warmth of Alcott’s original story.

LITTLE WOMEN is available for private and advance group bookings from December 12! Please email our Groups Co-ordinator for further information:
