SFFF Twilight Zone: The Movie

TWILIGHT ZONE THE MOVIE 40th Anniversary (Dirs: John Landis, Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante, George Miller)
“You are about to enter another dimension; a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone…”
Rod Serling’s iconic television anthology - a landmark fantasy work that remains a fan favourite to this day - was one of the first series to be adapted for the big screen. In 1983, four directors at the height of their creativity - John Landis (An American Werewolf in London); Steven Spielberg (Raiders of the Lost Ark); Joe Dante (The Howling); and, George Miller (Mad Max 2) - channelled their love for the show into a film of thrilling imagination, giddy fun and spine-tingling chills.
Screens with short film:
AWAKE (Dir: Francesco Paolo Cordaro, Andrea Cordaro)
John and Betty sense something is not quite right on their farm. Cows are dying, crops are crushed and, as her husband sleeps, Betty is bathed in light and transported to a nightmarish, unfamiliar world…
WINNER: BEST SCI-FI SHORT - MIDWEST WEIRDFEST, USA
