Both looking for something more in life, Mike (Jackman) and Claire (Hudon) are both small time performers playing at local fairs. After a chance encounter, the pair decide to partner up and form a tribute back under the pseudonym Thunder & Lightning, singing the songs Neil Diamond and Patsy Cline. As the pair ascend to a level of fame they’d only dreamed of, they both experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together.
