AFFA26 Nteregu

MELBOURNE PREMIERE

NTEREGU is a lyrical and immersive documentary that explores the rich musical traditions of Guinea-Bissau—from the ancestral Tina drum and the songs of the griots to the influence of diaspora soundscapes. Through rare testimonies and stunning imagery, the film shows how music has shaped cultural identity and connected generations, with women at the heart of its evolution.

Africa Film Fest Australia is co-presenting Nteregu with the African Music and Cultural Festival.
