Marathon Man

50TH ANNIVERSARY! John Schlesinger (Midnight Cowboy) directs Dustin Hoffman, Laurence Olivier, and Roy Scheider in the suspense thriller MARATHON MAN, adapted by William Goldman (All the President’s Men, The Princess Bride) from his novel.

Thomas "Babe" Levy (Hoffman) is a graduate history student and long-distance runner, who is unwittingly caught in the middle of an international conspiracy after his older brother, Doc (Scheider), is murdered. Learning post-humorously that his brother was a secret agent hunting a Nazi war criminal and stolen diamonds, Babe is thrown into the middle of a mystery where everything he believed to be true is suddenly turned upside down.
