Wolfram

From acclaimed Australian filmmaker Warwick Thornton (Samson & Delilah) comes WOLFRAM, a spiritual follow-up to his revered 2017 feature Sweet Country.

Set amongst the colonial frontier of 1930s Australia, two swaggering outlaws roll into a mining town and unleash a wave of cruelty. In the haze of the danger and distraction, two Aboriginal siblings Max and Kid (Hazel Jackson and Eli Hart) break free from their white masters who have forced them to work as child labourers in the mines, and set off across the desert “sweet country” of central Australia. While searching for safety and a way home, they meet Philomac (Pedrea Jackson), now an 18-year-old, who helps them on their journey to be reunited with their mother Pansy (Deborah Mailman).
