Inspired by a 2003 South Korean cult comedy, two conspiracy-obsessed young men, Teddy (Plemons) and Don (Aiden Delbis) kidnap Michelle (Stone), the high-powered CEO of a major pharmaceutical company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying Earth. The pair hide her in the basement of their isolated home, and as authorities scramble to discover who is behind the disappearance, a monumental battle of the wills between Michelle and her captors begins.
