Jimpa

Partially based on director Sophie Hyde’s own life experiences, JIMPA is a multi-generational queer story starring Olivia Colman (The Roses), John Lithgow (Conclave), and Hyde’s child Aud Mason-Hyde (52 Tuesdays).

Hannah (Colman), a film director, travels with her non-binary teenager Frances (Mason-Hyde) from Australia to Amsterdam to visit her gay father, Jim (Lithgow). But when Frances asks to stay abroad with their grandfather for a year, Hannah is forced to reconsider her beliefs about parenting and confront old stories about her relationship with her father.
