Dave Franco stars as Greg, a handsome actor hoping to make it big in Los Angeles. Paired with another aspiring performer, Tommy (James Franco), at acting class, the two men strike up an unlikely friendship. Tommy possesses a remarkable confidence that unlocks something in Greg, providing him with a self-assurance that starts to open doors in Hollywood. Tommy - whose acting style can only be called 'unique' - finds his dreams of stardom a little more elusive.
