Kitty Green writes and directs a searing drama inspired by recent revelations of what occurred within the workplace of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. Jane (Julia Garner) has landed a prized role working in the New York offices of an indie movie studio as the personal assistant to the Chairman. Working long hours and reading endless scripts, Jane is also responsible for her boss’ travel, scheduling meetings and making sure only those in his showbusiness orbit are able to reach him directly. Watching as her colleagues joke about his personal behaviour and make excuses for his verbal abusive, Jane soon reaches breaking point and sets off to bring to light what goes on behind closed doors.
