Blue Bayou

An official selection at Cannes, writer/director/star Justin Chon’s BLUE BAYOU is a timely drama depicting the hard-line hypocrisy of American immigration. Antonio LeBlanc (Chon), a Korean adoptee raised in small town Louisiana, is married to Kathy (Oscar winner Alicia Vikander) - pregnant with their second child. When Antonio unexpectedly collides with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement he becomes little more than an immigrant with a criminal record and faulty paperwork. Faced with deportation to a country he’s barely known, Antonio faces a system that places politics well ahead of families.
