From master filmmaker Zhang Yimou (Hero, Raise The Red Lantern) comes a drama set during the shifting sands of China's cultural revolution. Far from any city, two strangers (Liu Haocun, Zhang Yi) are united by a missing reel from a propaganda film making its way across the countryside. Each working toward secretive ends, they soon catch-up with a film projectionist (Fan Wei) who unites an entire township to ensure the screening goes ahead. Stunningly photographed, ONE SECOND is a love letter to the emotion that only the big-screen can evoke.
