Daniel Day-Lewis’ Oscar winning performance sees the screen legend star as Daniel Plainview, a calloused and unprincipled prospector who leads a bare life with his son H.W. (Dillon Freasier). When Plainview hears of an oil field near the Western town of Little Boston, he migrates over on a mission to create his own empire.
