Three Summers

Set in Rio Janeiro over a trio of summers, the caretaker for luxury condos, Madá (Regina Case, The Second Mother), sees a window of opportunity when her employers become caught in a major corruption scandal and her entitlements are not paid. Seeking to turn her bad fortune into good, Madá recruits her fellow employees in a scheme that may change their collective lives for the better.

Director Sandra Kogut’s chaotic comedy about class disparity, where The Help have no choice but to help themselves, features an outstanding central performance from Regina Case, and was the winner of Best Actress at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival.
