Lonely and in search of a partner, Frankenstein’s Monster (Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago in search of the groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create a reincarnated companion for him. When they come across the body of a recently murdered young woman, they reanimate her corpse and give birth to The Bride (Buckley). Whilst a relationship blossoms between the two, police interest also increases, and soon The Bride sparks radical change in not only her partner, but also the world around her.
