Saccharine

Filmmaker Natalie Erika James (Relic) returns with SACCHARINE, an Aussie bod- horror led by Midori Francis (Good Boys) and Danielle Macdonald (Patti Cake$).

When Hana (Francis), a reclusive, lovelorn medical student, runs into an old friend from her high school, she becomes fixated on their recent weight loss. When she learns it’s from medication, Hana becomes desperate to take the drug herself and finally gain the adoration of her personal trainer (and crush) Alanya (Madeleine Madden). But when addiction takes control, Hana finds herself making her own weight loss pills out of human remains, conjuring a ghastly spirit that begins to haunt her.
