Ice Tower, The

A darkly beautiful reworking of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale, THE ICE TOWER is a richly textured meditation on longing, isolation, and desire.

In the 1970s, runaway teenage orphan Jeanne (Clara Pacini) flees her isolated, mountainous life to the bustling city she’s always dreamed of discovering. Looking to seek refuge, she accidentally enters a film studio that's filming a new adaptation of The Snow Queen. There, she becomes drawn into the orbit of Cristina (Marion Cotillard), the film’s enigmatic and emotionally fragile star. But as the two form a bond, a mutual and sinister fascination takes hold.
