As the world teeters on the precipice of global conflict, cybersecurity expert Dr. Daniel Kellner (O’Connor) steals government secrets about whether mankind is alone in the universe. As a shadowy deep-state organisation chases him across the country, Kellner begins to orchestrate a plan to disclose the information to the whole world, with the help of meteorologist Margaret Fairchild (Blunt).
