About Endlessness

A gentle musing on humanity that reflects it through both the light and the dark, Swedish auteur Roy Andersson (A Pigeon Sat On A Branch Reflecting On Existence), crafts ABOUT ENDLESSNESS as a series of micro-bites of life. A sequence of vignettes that flicker from drama to comedy and back again, it is a moving portrayal of the variances of the human condition; we see redemptive love and compassion, but also evils and despair. Andersson’s film won the Silver Lion for Best Direction at Venice, and ABOUT ENDLESSNESS secures his place as a filmmaker of melancholic, yet singular, vision.
