All That's Left of You
Written by, directed by, and starring Cherien Dabis, ALL THAT’S LEFT OF YOU is a powerful multi-generational chronicle of a Palestinian family.
In the occupied West Bank, 1988, a young man joins a protest that changes the course of his family’s life. After the protest is met with violence, his mother Hanan (Dabis) shares the story of their family history, which led them to the protest. A tale that spans seven decades, Hanan’s story traces a displaced family that still longs to return their homeland of Jaffa, even as they move further away from it.
Inspired by Dabis’ family, ALL THAT’S LEFT OF YOU is a touching and sweeping epic that was produced by Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem.
Some Arabic and Hebrew language, English subtitles.
