Dreams and Where the Wild Things Are

Tuck in and see where the night takes you...

Akira Kurosawa directs DREAMS, a movie inspired by the master filmmaker's own subconscious experiences. Packed with dazzling imagery steeped in Japanese culture, an enormous cast (including Martin Scorsese as Vincent Van Gogh!) will transport viewers into the past, the 1990s present and the future. Executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich, Her) adapts Maurice Sendak's beloved book WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE for the screen in his own inimitable style. Featuring an all-star voice cast including James Gandolfini, Catherine O'Hara, Forest Whitaker and Paul Dano, Catherine Keener and Mark Ruffalo star opposite Max Records as the book's young adventurer in a lavish production made right here in Melbourne.
