The Sartorial Splendour of Wes Anderson

Revisit a fashion film classic and join Cinema Nova as we celebrate Wes Anderson. Making costume choices for his characters that are as finessed as the interiors, dialogue and music cues that make each of his films unique, Wes Anderson’s films are reliably some of the most visually lavish of the last quarter century.

Two of his most iconic films, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS (2001) and THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL (2014) return to the cinema screen before a panel discussion on each film’s exacting costume design.

Also screening the Fashion Films from this year’s Fashion Film Awards Program and an introduction from a special guest who’ll talk about the fashion in the film.
