A rare event in that it is likely to be a favourite during awards season in the animated feature, feature documentary and international feature categories, Jonas Poher Rasmussen's FLEE is an incredibly moving account of one man's life experiences on the eve of his marriage. Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner 2021.

FLEE tells the story of Amin Nawabi as he grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for twenty years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself. Recounted through animation, Amin tells for the first time the story of his extraordinary journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan.
