Nitram

The first Australian film to screen in competition at Cannes in 30 years, where it won Best Actor for Caleb Landry Jones, Justin Kurzel’s NITRAM depicts one of the darkest chapters of modern Australian history. Taking place in the days prior to the 1996 Port Arthur mass shooting, Jones stars opposite Essie Davis, Anthony LaPaglia and Judy Davis in a gripping drama exploring the extraordinary events that lead to the fateful day.
