Wilding

Q&A SCREENING: Thursday October 2, 6.45pm. Bush Heritage presents a post-screening Q&A discussing the ecological themes of nature and sustainability. Hosted by Daniel McLaughlin (Bush Heritage - Head of Region, South East), with a panel featuring: Paul Dettman (Cassinia Environmental - Founder), Sally Hawkins (CQ University - Lecturer Sustainable Development), Tegan Hibberson (Bush Heritage - Healthy Landscape Manager).

Isabella Tree and her husband, Charlie Burrell, bet on nature for the future of their failing, four-hundred-year-old estate. Battling entrenched tradition, the duo dares to place the fate of their farm in the hands of nature. Ripping down the fences, they set the land back to the wild and entrust its recovery to a motley mix of animals both tame and wild. It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant rewilding experiments in Europe.

Based on Tree's book of the same name, WILDING is a story about our attachment to the land, and how embracing the past can allow the future to flourish.
