Dark Waters

Rising-star corporate lawyer Rob Bilott (Mark Ruffalo) is contacted by farmers who report a hazardous toxic waste dump near where he grew up, which they believe is poisoning their farmland. Taking the case on the side with the approval of his boss (Tim Robbins), the waste is found to be caused by the manufacture of Teflon in a factory owned by DuPont.

Directed by Todd Haynes (Carol, Far From Heaven) and starring Anne Hathaway, Bill Pullman, Victor Garber and Bill Camp, DARK WATERS is the enthralling true-life drama of a man who put his career and safety in danger to take on one of the most powerful corporations in the United States.
