Face Off and Vampire's Kiss
DOUBLE FEATURE! For Nic Cage, change is as good as a holiday.
FACE/OFF: FBI agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) has been chasing down terrorist Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) for six years, ever since his son was murdered by the elusive criminal. Obsessed with bringing him to justice, Archer finally gets his chance, only to learn that Troy, who’s now in a coma, has placed a bomb somewhere in Los Angeles. Whilst still under, Archer decides to embark on an experimental facial transplant surgery to assume Troy’s identity and learn of the bomb’s location; a plan which goes awry when Troy wakes up from his coma and takes Archer’s face, beginning a game of cat and mouse.
VAMPIRE'S KISS: White-collar New Yorker Peter’s (Nicolas Cage) life revolves around making as much money as possible and sleeping around as much as possible. One night out he meets Rachel (Jennifer Beals), and when the two begin to entangle, she bites him on the neck. Convinced that she’s a vampire, Peter begins to think that he’s becoming a vampire too, and is forced to come to terms with his afflictions. But is he making it all up in his head?
