A Private Life

Captivatingly led by Jodie Foster, A PRIVATE LIFE is a French mystery co-starring Daniel Auteuil (Caché), Virginie Efira (Benedetta), and Mathieu Amalric (The Phoenician Scheme).

When the Paris-living psychologist Lilian (Foster) learns of a patient’s death, she refuses to accept the police-ruled report that claims she committed suicide. Convinced that the departed’s husband is somehow involved, Lillian seeks the help of her ex-husband Gabriel (Auteuil), and a hypnotist, to solve the case. Plunged into a labyrinth where memory, intuition, and doubt collide, Lillian finds herself pushed far beyond her personal and professional limits.
