Tom (Jesse Eisenberg) and Gemma (Imogen Poots) are trapped in a nightmare, except...it’s a very suburban, banal nightmare. VIVARIUM sees the young couple, on the look-out for their first home, trapped in a housing estate called Yonder: somethings more than a bit off with the people who show them around, all the roads loop back on to themselves, and they can’t wake up from their nightmare. Plus, then they find a baby in a box with instructions to raise him and be released. Things are complicated. One part Truman Show and one part Get Out, you’ll be thoroughly spooked by the domestic hellscape - and running to the hills from suburbia.
