When Los Angeles loner Matthew (Pellerin) has a chance encounter with Oliver (Madekwe), a popstar on the cusp of stardom, he’s soon catapulted into the seductive world of celebrity. But as Matthew gets closer to Oliver, he finds himself being overshadowed by the entourage of friends and colleagues that surround the musician. Vying for Oliver’s attention, he sets out to prove himself as more than a follower, straining their bond as an online parasocial fixation quickly becomes a paranoid game of cat-and-mouse with deadly consequences.
