Co-written and led by a star-making performance from actor Will Arnett (Arrested Development), IS THIS THING ON? is the new feature film from Bradley Cooper (A Star is Born, Maestro), and stars Laura Dern (Marriage Story) opposite Arnett as parents going through a separation.

On the verge of a divorce, middle-aged couple Alex (Arnett) and Tess (Dern) are navigating co-parenting, living in different homes, and the possibility of their new lives. One night, in order to avoid paying an entry fee to a pub, Alex signs himself up to an open-mic stand-up night and begins to find a new life within the New York Comedy scene. As he finds himself increasingly drawn to his new identity, Tess starts to confront the sacrifices she’s made for her family and life she longs to lead. As they both begin to find a renewed purpose in their life apart, the pair are forced to reflect on their marriage, themselves, and whether love can take a new form.
