Batman (1989) + Batman Returns

DOUBLE BILL! Burton Batmans back on the big screen!

The year was 1989. Computer generated effects were not yet in wide use, it had been over a decade since Superman had let audiences believe a man could fly, and Michael Keaton was best known for a kooky supernatural comedy directed by little-known Disney animation outcast Tim Burton. That American summer the stars aligned thanks to a hefty payday for Jack Nicholson, a rush-job companion album by Prince, and a ubiquitous logo that was a part of the biggest marketing effort Hollywood had ever produced. BATMAN changed movies forever.

Three years later Burton (now in high demand) reunited with Keaton for a sequel that dared to be darker, more gothic and without a guitar riff by the Purple One in earshot. Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny DeVito and Christopher Walken co-starred in BATMAN RETURNS, considered by fans to be among the greatest Dark Knight adventures.

Revisit these classic super hero adventures on the cinema screen, screening back-to-back in a bat-tacular double feature!
