Cinema Fiasco - Ninja 3: The Domination
Cinema Fiasco return with NINJA 3: THE DOMINATION, complete with hilarious live in-cinema comic commentary!
After assassinating a scientist and his bodyguards on a golf course, an evil ninja is gunned down by cops. His spirit possesses the body of telephone repairwoman and part-time aerobics instructor Lucinda Dickey who then exacts a murderous revenge. Complicating matters is Lucinda’s burgeoning relationship with one of the cops and the arrival of a nice ninja from Japan who wants the evil ninja dead even though he already is. While it makes precious little sense – and there’s nothing wrong with that – the movie has some excellent sections, including an exorcism incorporating trapeze, a Jacuzzi triple murder and an unforgettable seduction scene in which Lucinda pours V8 vegetable juice down her top. The movie is also a splendid showcase for the 1980s, with leotards, leg-warmers, neon, video games and aerobics in abundance, and an 80s soundtrack by some of the biggest stars you’ve never heard of. Lucinda’s just-do-what-the-director-tells-you style of acting is admirable while love interest Bennett is the hairiest leading man to hit the screen since King Kong.
Director: Sam Firstenberg
Starring: Lucinda Dickey, Sho Kosugi, Jordan Bennett, David Chung, James Wong
