Almost two decades after Runway’s mid-2000s success, Miranda (Streep) is finding herself struggling to compete in a new landscape that devalues print publication. When Andy (Hathaway) returns to help the company navigate this new era of fashion media, her, Miranda, and Nigel (Tucci) reconnect with former assistant Emily (Blunt), who now heads a rival luxury brand that posses the funding necessary to Runway’s survival.
