When Rick (Rudd), a past-his-prime wedding singer, meets fading boy-band star Danny (Jonas) during a gig, the two bond over music during a late-night jam session. But after Rick shows Danny one of his most personal songs, Danny takes it, releasing it under his name and turning to it into the hit that reignites his career. Wanting the recognition he believes he deserves, Rick sets out to reclaim ownership of the song, even if it means risking everything he cares about.
