Knight's Tale, A

Led by the eternally charming and commanding Heath Ledger, A KNIGHT’S TALE is a stylised pop-culture heavy interpretation of 14th-century Europe.

When his master dies in a jousting tournament, peasant William Thatcher (Ledger), with his friends Roland (Mark Addy) and Wat (Alan Tudyk), sets out to take his place. Fuelled by a desire for food and glory, he creates a new identity for himself as a knight and begins to joust in hopes of a better life.
