Based on Akira Kurosawa's 1952 drama Ikiru, Bill Nighy stars in director Oliver Hermanus' LIVING with a script from acclaimed novelist Kazuo Ishiguro. 1953. As London rebuilds after being shattered by WWII, veteran civil servant Mr Williams (Bill Nighy) is an important cog within the city’s bureaucracy. Buried under paperwork at the office, he longs to recapture the meaning he felt for life. When a medical diagnosis forces him to grasp fulfilment before it moves beyond reach, Mr Williams is inspired by the natural vitality of his former colleague Margaret (Sex Education's Aimee Lou Wood) and dares to live life to the fullest for the very first time.
